Built at Ballinderry Park by the people who run it.
Steward started as the system behind one Georgian estate in County Galway that wanted to stop renting its own guests back from Booking.com. It worked. Now it runs a small number of heritage estates in Ireland and the UK.
Where it was built
A 41-acre estate that sleeps fifty, run by two people.
Manor house, coach house, glamping village, a hot tub and a long table. In 2025 most of its bookings came through marketplaces. In 2026 it booked €269k direct in six months.
The people
Two founders. One estate that proved it.
Runs Ballinderry Park and Steward. Built the first version of the platform because the estate needed it, and still takes the walkthroughs and the visits himself.
Leads the build and the onboarding. Has trained teams at Anthropic, Semrush, Bright Data and Hostinger, and runs Steward's AI programme for estates.
Plus the coordinators at each estate, who use it every day and tell us what’s wrong with it.
How we work
Four things we won’t change.
Built in a house, not a WeWork
Every feature exists because a real estate needed it on a real weekend: the hot-tub slots, the split-the-bill links, the deposit that blocks Airbnb. We eat our own cooking every Friday.
Software and demand, one team
The people who build the configurator also run the campaigns that send people to it. When the ads person and the developer are the same person, the funnel gets fixed the same afternoon.
A small number of estates
We onboard a handful a year and protect each one's territory. The point is that every estate on Steward does well, not that there are many of them.
Your data is yours
Bookings, guests, reviews, content: exportable at any time. The platform is licensed; the relationships are not.
